There are a number of basic human rights that have been established by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations. This includes the right to life as well as no torture or inhumane treatment. There’s also a right to privacy and the right to freedom of opinion.
These aren’t rights as Americans. These are rights that we have as humans.
Yet, the Biden administration has decided that they may trump all of these rights by demanding that we get the vaccine.
Now, some of us have gotten the vaccine. We chose to do so because we felt that it was important for our job, our family, or our health.

Not everyone feels that way. Some people feel as though the vaccine has not received sufficient testing. Some people have seen firsthand some of the adverse effects of the vaccine. Some are also against all vaccines because they feel that it is not necessary or that it isn’t God’s will.
People have always had the right to choose whether they want to get vaccinated or not. Polio, measles, mumps, rabies…the list goes on and on. Why shouldn’t COVID-19 be added to the list? For most people, it will be just another vaccine to add to their medical records. For others, it will get added to the list of things they refuse to get.
And it’s their right. If it violates a human right because people think that it takes away their right to life or that it’s torture or that it goes against their religion, they shouldn’t be forced to get the vaccine.
The Biden administration continues to prove that they don’t care about individual thoughts. They don’t care what Americans want. They only care that they made the promise to get Americans vaccinated and their vaccination numbers aren’t looking too good.
The NY Times has estimated that approximately 60% of Americans have been vaccinated against COVID. However, these rates are dramatically different across many regions. Some regions may be considerably higher than 60% while others may be considerably lower.
The Pentagon has recently announced that they’re considering making COVID-19 vaccines mandatory as soon as the FDA has approved the vaccines.
Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby made the announcement that “Should the FDA approve it then I am certain Pentagon leadership will take a look at what our options are going forward.”
There’s a lot of planning happening behind the scenes. The Pentagon wants to encourage people to get vaccinated, yet the FDA hasn’t even approved the vaccines yet.
“They’re safe.” “They’re effective.”
Maybe. If the vaccines are so safe and effective, why has the FDA not approved them yet? This is one of the reasons why there is still 40% of the population unwilling to get vaccinated.
However, the real question will come if and when the FDA does approve the COVID vaccines.
Can the government mandate the vaccine…and will they?
If the Pentagon mandates the vaccine, It would mean that everyone in the military would have to get the vaccine. However, they cannot mandate something that is not FDA-approved.
Should the Pentagon make the mandate, it would only be a matter of time before the Biden administration follows suit for all Americans.
There have already been members of the military who have said that they will quit if the vaccines are mandated.
Is the Pentagon ready to lose servicemembers simply to force everyone into compliance over a COVID vaccine?
The vaccine isn’t perfect. And the coronavirus isn’t deadly for all. Plenty of people have survived the virus, just as they’ve survived the flu and various other diseases where a vaccine exists.
All it takes is one thing to be mandated. Then, life as we know it changes. If the COVID vaccine is mandated, who knows what will follow.
