Another Democrat Comes Out of the Woodwork To Claim Biden Won’t Run in 2024

As we wait for the 2022 midterm elections, people are already coming out to talk about President Biden and the Presidential election of 2024. Much like Super Bowl odds, we are opening this topic earlier and earlier each year. On August 2nd, Rep. Carolyn Maloney stood for a congressional primary debate when the question was raised.

“I don’t believe he’s running for re-election,” was her response to being asked if he should run again in 2024. This typical Democrat way of not answering the question as it was asked shouldn’t surprise anyone. Her opponent and long-time colleague Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) gave the traditionally indecisive answer, and third-time challenger Suraj Patel is all in favor of him running again.

Notice, nobody said if he should, or he shouldn’t. This kind of non-answer would not fly while going to college. Professors would rake you over the coals for trying to answer that way. It doesn’t fly in the boardroom for any company either. Why are the American people tolerating it from the Democrats who keep bringing this idea to the table?

While many are starting to come out against the President seeking re-election in 2024, it’s not coming in the droves it should, and even when they do, they are flipping back over. After the debate, Rep. Maloney issued a statement about her beliefs. She praised his “exemplary leadership,” and claimed, “If Biden chooses to run for President again, I absolutely intend to support him.” However, she made a mistake in how she phrased things. She is “focused on my own August 23rd primary, and ensuring we hold our Democratic majorities in the House and Senate in the 2022 midterms.”

This kind of talk sounds all too familiar. It’s as if someone spoke out against Russian President Vladimir Putin or NK’s Kim Jong Un, they would be facing the music for not going along with the flow from the top, and by not choosing to follow the flow they could find themselves out of politics or at least the Democratic party quickly.

Rep. Angie Craig (D-MN) of Minnesota’s 2nd District is standing out as a strong defector from the manufactured message. Telling the MinnPost “I would say we need new leaders in Washington up and down the ballot in the Democratic Party. I think Dean Phillips and I are in lockstep and alignment with that and I’m going to do everything in my power as a member of Congress to make sure that we have a new generation of leadership.”

While a united front like this could pose a small challenge for Republicans during the 2022 midterms, at least some are crossing over to the Republican mindset of Biden needing to be gone. Given his recent 58% disapproval rating by a CBS News poll for the end of July, his Presidency is in real trouble with Americans. The New York Times showed that 64% of Democratic voters want someone else to run, and a CNN poll has 75% of respondents wanting anyone else to run.

For now, the American people can take some solace in the idea of the old Democrats finally leaving office. Their feeble attempts at pushing progressive politics are nothing more than grandstanding for the new generation of leftists. Much like a man going through a mid-life crisis, these politicians look and sound incredibly foolish as they worry about their egos and things they don’t understand.

This makes them more dangerous than the new regime of Democrats coming in. At least with them, you know their way of seeing things is consistent with their values and where they stand. Given the hatred of the Democratic party due to President Biden’s extreme failure, it should be a strong red wave this election season. Biden will not only find himself fighting an uphill battle after these midterms, but for any other time in politics, he might think he has left.
